VOLUNTARY RETURN PROGRAM APPLICATION PROCESS






 APPLICATION :

Your VARP application has been received and submitted to UDI for acceptance. UDI decides whether applicants qualify for the Voluntary Assisted Return Programme.


ACCEPTED :

Your VARP application has been accepted. IOM will assist you to go back home.


REJECTED:

Your VARP application has not been accepted. For more information about this decision, please contact UDI.


DOCUMENTS :

If you do not have a valid travel document, IOM will assist you with obtaining a valid travel document from your Embassy. Processing times vary depending on your destination.


TICKETS:

Your plane ticket is booked. You will be soon be back home.


REINTEGRATION: 

In addition to travel assistance, you may be entitled to reintegration support. This may include a cash allowance, in-kind support and other assistance depending on when you apply to the VARP programme and to which destination you are returning.


LUGGAGE :

Please pay attention to the luggage allowance. Luggage exceeding the allowance will not be covered by IOM.
