Voss Library is situated in the first floor of Voss Cultural House. In the library you can borrow books, audio books, films, computer games and several other mediums. The library also offers magazines and newspapers for in-library reading.
It is always free to use the library. The staff at the library is happy to help you get the information you want.
If the item you want is not available locally the Voss Library can borrow it from other libraries for you. To borrow a book you need to bring your library card. If you don’t have a library card and live in Norway you can get one at the library. Remember to bring some ID.
Voss Library has a great local collection of books and other media about Voss and people from Voss. The local collection is in a separate room where it also is a work space. Students and others that need a place to study can use the reading room in the second floor.
There are different happenings in the library in the evenings. Examples of different happenings are “meet the author”, concerts and children’s activities. At some of the activities for adults there will be an entrance fee.
